Limited 1-Year Warranty Policy

1. Warranty Coverage

BunkRoomHome warrants its furniture products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase.

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

2. Warranty Period

One (1) Year Limited Warranty Includes:

  • Structural components (frames, panels, tops, drawer boxes, joinery)
  • Drawer glides and hardware (slides, hinges, handles)
  • Finish and surface materials (stains, paints, lacquers, veneers)

All components are covered for manufacturing defects for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase.

3. What Is Covered

This warranty covers:

  • Defects in materials or workmanship
  • Structural failure under normal residential use
  • Malfunctioning drawer systems or hardware
  • Finish defects such as peeling, cracking, or blistering under normal conditions

4. What Is Not Covered

Transportation & Delivery Damage

  • Any damage occurring during shipping, delivery, or handling after the product leaves BunkRoomHome’s facility
  • Damage incurred while in transit to the retailer, warehouse, or end customer
  • Damage caused during final delivery, setup, or in-home handling by the retailer or carrier
  • Concealed damage not reported at the time of delivery in accordance with the carrier claims process

All transportation-related damage claims must be filed directly with the transportation carrier at the time of receipt and are not considered manufacturing defects. Any damage observed at the time of delivery MUST be reported immediately to the delivering carrier. Failure to report delivery-related damage at time of receipt may result in denial of the claim under the carrier’s policy and will not be covered under the BunkRoomHome warranty.

Natural Characteristics

  • Variations in wood grain, color, or texture
  • Expansion, contraction, or minor cracking due to seasonal changes
  • Veneer pattern variation or joint lines

Normal Wear & Use

  • Scratches, dents, chips, or watermarks
  • Fading or discoloration from sunlight or use
  • Minor finish wear over time

 Environmental Damage

  • Exposure to extreme temperatures or humidity
  • Warping or splitting caused by improper climate control
  • Damage from liquid spills, heat, or chemicals

Improper Use or Handling

  • Misuse, abuse, or neglect
  • Overloading drawers or shelves
  • Damage resulting from improper assembly or installation

Other Exclusions

  • Commercial, rental, or institutional use
  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications

5. Care & Environmental Requirements

To maintain warranty coverage, customers should:

  • Keep furniture in a controlled indoor environment (30–55% humidity recommended)
  • Avoid direct sunlight and proximity to heat sources
  • Use coasters, pads, and protective coverings
  • Clean with approved, non-abrasive products

6. Claims Process

To submit a warranty claim, the customer must:

  1. Provide original invoice and signed BOL from the carrier
  2. Submit photos clearly showing the issue
  3. Contact BunkRoomHome Customer Service to confirm all requested info has been received.

BunkRoomHome reserves the right to request additional information or inspection before determining eligibility.

7. Warranty Remedies

If a defect is confirmed within the one (1) year warranty period, BunkRoomHome will, at its discretion:

  • Pay for a repair to the defective component, or
  • Replace the part or product, or
  • Offer a prorated credit

Replacement parts or products may vary due to natural material characteristics or product updates.

8. Limitations of Liability

  • This warranty is limited to repair or replacement only
  • BunkRoomHome is not responsible for labor, transportation, or service costs unless otherwise required by law
  • BunkRoomHome is not liable for incidental or consequential damages

9. Important Note on Wood Furniture

Wood is a natural material and will respond to environmental conditions. Minor movement, seasonal gaps, or slight variations are normal and are not considered defects.
